How to Create and Manage a Walk-In Booking

In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to create and manage a walk-in booking using the booking system.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access Bookings:

    In the navigation bar, click on Bookings.

  2. Select Venue:

    Choose the venue from the list provided.

  3. Open Day Planner:

    In the main area, click on the Day Planner view.

  4. Create New Booking:

    In the top navigation bar, click on the walking icon to initiate a new booking.

  5. Select Booking Type:

    In the pop-up window, choose the booking type that the customer will be associated with.

  6. Specify Number of People:

    Select the number of people who will be part of the booking.

  7. Adjust Duration:

    Click on the Duration drop-down to set the desired time.

  8. Allocate Table:

    The table will be automatically allocated. If you wish to make changes, click on the Selected Tables field to adjust your selection. This screen allows you to select or unselect a table.

  9. Finalize Booking:

    Once satisfied with your selections, click the Continue button.

  10. Create Walk-In:

    Finally, click the Create Walk-in button.

Confirmation

In the Day Planner, observe the newly created walk-in booking marked in orange.
